Front Porch Decor for the Christmas Time
I was super ready to say goodbye to my fall stuff. Christmas is so much fun and I couldn’t wait to get all the things out, plus y’all know I love to give my porch a refresh every season! It feels so good to clean everything up and start fresh. Here is my front porch decor for the Christmas Time!
This year I didn’t get very many new things. I stuck mostly with what I already had, but I did add a couple of new things. I feel like my style is constantly changing, so I’ve been trying really hard lately to only buy decor pieces that I really really love. This has helped me not want to change absolutely everything each year. So if you are anything like me – just add a couple of new things, that way it feels a little different!

The Details
A few years ago I found this wreath and fell in love! I seriously love everything about this wreath. It’s got the perfect hint of red to it! If I remember right, I got it from Home Depot. They also had a little matching tree, but I never ended up getting it because at the time I didn’t have a lot of room on my porch. I kicked myself so many times for not grabbing one!
The next year came around and of course I couldn’t find it anymore, but luckily I found one that was very similar!
This 5ft frosted prelit porch tree went so perfect with my wreath. It’s super pretty and to be honest I love that it’s not super matchy-matchy! Moral of the story: don’t beat yourself up too bad when you regret not buying something, just keep looking and you’ll find something else that will work. Maybe even better!
Behind the tree up on my closed flower box, I added a red colored candle to my holder. Changing up your candle color is a really good way to freshen up your porch area. Such a simple little touch, but adds a lot to the space.
New Additions
This past spring I decided to start hanging a sign up on my porch siding and it’s been so much fun switching it out every season! I didn’t have one for Christmas time, so I knew that was something I had to add. This super cute sign I found at Hobby Lobby. I love this one because of the wooden beads and little trees! It looks so good next to my rattan chair adding to that kinda boho vibe.
I also added this present with the buffalo plaid bow. I just thought this was so perfect with my rug and pillow! You can also get these in different sizes which would look really good by a fire place or Christmas tree. So many options with these.
I did decide to grab another rug this year, just because I saw this one randomly at Big Lots a couple of months ago and loved it. I think it looks so cute layered with my buffalo plaid rug! This was such a good purchase. I love the layered look, but get one you can use for multiple seasons. Then you just have to change out your welcome mat!
The last things I added were some faux evergreens to my front flower pots, but honestly it was a complete fail. I couldn’t even take a picture because they look so bad. If you wanna see them you for yourself, you can check out my YouTube video where I kind of show them.
Unfortunately I took the tag off of the evergreens, so they are staying for now. I do like the idea of them, so I’ll just have to find something that works better!
