An Easy Way to Organize Your Makeup and Beauty Products
A while back I did a blog post on my master bathroom linen closet organization, which you can check out HERE. I had a lot of you asking about my white drawers and how I organize them. I’ve been using these drawers for literally as long as I can remember and absolutely love them. It’s such an easy way to organize your makeup and beauty products.
I mostly store extra makeup in mine, but I do have some beauty products too. The thing I really appreciate about these drawers is that I feel like I always have more room to grow. Unless you have a ton of extra makeup, these drawers are the perfect size. If you do have a lot, you could use two of them. I’ve seen people use one on each side with a table top on the top to create a vanity. I personally just store mine in my bathroom linen closet. I had to actually take off the wheels to make it fit, but it works well for me!

Here’s how I organized my drawers using only three different types of organizers!
These assorted acrylic drawer organizers are the best. This specific set actually comes with 32 pieces, so you have a lot to work with. For the price, you seriously can’t beat it! There are 5 different sizes you can mix and match inside your drawers however works best for you. This is one of the best ways to organize a space, just look for a set of bins that come with a bunch of assorted sizes. That way everything matches and it’s usually a little less expensive then buying them individually.

The other thing that I really like about these organizers is that they stack. This allowed me to save a little bit of space, which you can never go wrong with. If you’ve been here for any amount of time, you know I love anything that stacks. That’s always a win for me!

These compact organizers are awesome for smaller sized blushes or eye shadows. If you have bigger palettes or packaging, I would go with something more like THIS. Just be aware of how much vertical space you have in your drawer. Some things may be too tall and won’t fit. I just put my larger palettes in a little square acrylic organizer slightly laying down, which I think works perfectly. This compact set came with two, so I do have some room to grow!
Clear Acrylic Compact Organizer

Originally I wanted to use this lipstick organizer for my taller lipsticks, but honestly I kind of expected it to not work and unfortunately it didn’t. The lipsticks were just too tall for the drawer. However; I still really love this type of organizer, it’s so much easier to see which color you want without needing to search through them all. In the end I decided to keep it, because I love lipstick so I’m sure I can figure out how to fill it. Typical girl logic, am I right?

Instead of putting all of my tall lipsticks in the organizer, I just laid them down in a acrylic bin which ended up working out pretty well. There are ridges at the bottom of these bins, so it helped keep the lipstick in place. I can now easily take this bin out and look on the side for the color I want.

There you have it!
These drawers are such an easy way to organize your makeup and beauty products. You could even use them without the extra organizers. I actually did that for a really long time. Adding them just helped me utilize the space better! Let me know how you organize your makeup and extra beauty products.
