Extreme Backyard Patio Makeover with Privacy Wall

I’ve always dreamt of having a beautiful, peaceful outdoor space where I could drink my morning coffee. I mean don’t we all?! We just recently built our home and like a lot of homes, it came with a builder’s grade cement patio. It was boring. At first I dressed it up with a rug, some décor, and pillows but it was still pretty drab. I knew we needed an extreme backyard patio makeover! So we got to work.

My husband and I threw around a bunch of ideas, but we ultimately decided to build a flower box with a privacy wall, which you can check out HERE. It turned out amazing, but we needed a little something else to really elevate this space. I knew I wanted to hang lights up and make this a super cozy outdoor living area, so that’s exactly what we did. The lights are such a fun touch and make it really pretty at night!

We also decided to just give in and get new patio furniture. It was definitely time, and I think it made a HUGE difference in the overall look of the space. I love the table that comes with this specific set. It ties everything together so nicely. Simply changing out your patio furniture can make a big impact. Plus having cushions makes it even more cozy!! I honestly don’t know why we waited so long.
