3 Super Easy Fall Decor DIY Ideas from Dollar Tree
Every year I typically buy just a little bit of decor to add to my collection each season. If you are patient, this is such a good option to help with the cost of seasonal decor. We all know it can get pricey real quick! This year, I wanted to do something a little different. I’ve seen a ton of DIY ideas on TikTok, so I decided I wanted to try some of them out. Here are 3 super easy Fall decor DIY ideas from Dollar Tree.
Pumpkin Floral

Supplies
- Styrofoam Pumpkin
- Pearl Stickers
- White & Dark Grey Paint
- Floral Pieces
Dollar Tree actually has some of these pumpkins with floral already in it, but if I remember correctly they were smaller. I also don’t love the bright orange look, so I decided to make my own! First I got rid of that orange and painted the pumpkin white instead. I also added the strands of pearls and a little touch of dark grey paint. Doing this created a really pretty shabby chic look. Now you have a $1 styrofoam pumpkin that looks like it came from Hobby Lobby!

You could just paint the whole pumpkin and leave it as is, or you can cut a hole in the top like I did and add some fall florals. Either way it’s such a simple change that makes a big impact! This one was super fun to do. I’ve never played around with textures to create a new look, so I loved this. I have some more ideas in mind using a similar concept!!
Wooden Crate Centerpiece

Supplies
- 3 Wooden Crates
- Pumpkins (a mix of sizes, but one bigger for the center)
- Floral/Leave Pieces
- Styrofoam (I used two packages)
- Wood Plank Peel and Stick
I was excited to try this wooden crate centerpiece and I think it turned out SO good. Even my husband commented on it! All you do is glue the 3 crates together, cover the sides with peel and stick, glue the styrofoam in the bottom of each crate, then add your floral and pumpkins.

The key to creating this centerpiece is cutting each individual floral piece, that way you can really spread them out to cover more of the styrofoam. Plus it gives you the ability to really customize your look! I love the idea of this craft because after Fall, I can re-use the base for other holidays. I can’t wait to make a Christmas one!!
Lighted Glass Pumpkin

Supplies
- Round Shape Glass
- Jute Rope
- Leaves
- Candle
This one was by far the easiest little fall craft! Just grab some jute rope and glue it on. I believe my jute was 4 ply, but here I think the thicker the jute the better. I honestly don’t think mine was thick enough. It definitely worked, but next time I would find a thicker rope!

How cute is this pumpkin?? You can either stick a little battery opperated candle or some twinkle lights inside to add a little fun touch! I am still on the hunt for a perfect candle for it. This is such a simple, inexpensive decor piece.
If you want to see how I made each of these, make sure you go check it out on my YouTube channel.
I love love how all of these turned out, and it was so fun creating my own pieces of decor. For more Fall inspiration, check out my previous years of decor HERE.

I absolutely love these! I cannot wait to go try a couple of these!!!
