An Easy Way to Add Spring/Easter Décor Throughout Your Home

I love adding little touches of the seasons into my home and Spring is no exception. This season is actually one of my favorites, because we all need a little color after a long winter! Am I right? I’m going to share with you an easy way to add some fun Spring/Easter décor throughout your entire home.

Head to the Target Dollar Spot!

This post is not sponsored, but I wish it was with how much I spend there! Yes, I’m a full-on Target addict. But seriously y’all, the dollar spot is where it’s at. Nothing is more than $5, so you really can’t go wrong. My only suggestion would be to find out when your local store puts out new seasonal items. I went a little late and a lot of the shelves were empty, but I still feel like I scored some awesome goodies! Not everything I ended up getting was from the dollar spot, but most of it was.

Here is what I got and how I styled it all:

A couple weeks ago I grabbed a bunch of really pretty spring flowers for a wreath I made for my pantry, go check out that post HERE. I actually had enough left over that I was able to use them in other spaces of my home! I love using flowers to add a touch of color.

Pro Tip: The white vase that the flowers are in is actually one of those canisters that say ‘coffee’ on it. I wasn’t using it anymore, so I just cleaned it out and turned it around! Sometimes when you get bored of the same old décor, you gotta get creative and switch around what you have.

Do what makes you happy!

I grabbed these salt and pepper shaker bunnies and a candle. I mean! How cute are these little guys + adding the bunny kisses candle… Perfection! For me, I believe decorating should be about what makes you happy and this little space definitely makes me happy!!

Layer your décor.

Do you see that ceramic egg tray with the little bunny peeking out? This was such a fun find for me! It was in the dollar spot and only $5. Totally worth it. I added it to a cabinet with glass doors where I keep our china. I actually found another ceramic tray that I love just as much.

This one is white and looks so awesome on the open shelves in my kitchen! I also added another cute candle and a little Spring flower. This whole combo is my favorite.

It’s all about layers! If done right, you can really add some dimension to your décor. Just keep in mind the different heights of each piece you are layering. You want to keep the eye moving, so you never want your pieces to be the exact same height. I absolutely love the layered look in the kitchen!

Add seasonal pillows.

How amazing are these bunny pillows? Side note – I have to admit, anything I ran into that had bunnies on it… I immediately threw into my cart. I really loved these pillows in particular because some of the Spring/Easter pillows can be a bit much. These were super subtle and just what my entryway needed! I’m all about keeping my normal décor and sprinkling in some seasonal touches here and there. Doing it this way makes it so easy to add Spring/Easter décor throughout your home.

Keep it simple.

This little set up is on my bookshelves I have in my living room area. I actually have 2 book shelves side by side, so I try to keep my decorating pretty simple because I don’t want it to look cluttered. Keep an eye out for a blog post coming soon on how to decorate shelves!

I picked most of these décor items up from the dollar spot. I just added some wood beads and greenery I already had on hand to the basket. This is such a simple but awesome way to create some interest to your space. I also added a touch of lavender because it screams Springtime to me!

Don’t forget to give your bathroom a little love too.

Sometimes your bathroom can get left out when it comes to decorating. Out of sight out of mind. Don’t let that happen! Just switch out your hand towels. Simple solution. I found these fun Spring hand towels, again with the bunnies! Is it even Spring without the bunnies? I added these to my main bathroom, along with some more lavender to brighten up the space. Nothing too fancy, but does make a big difference!
