2 Pretty Ways to Fold Your Towels

I’m all about simple touches that make a big impact. Why not bring that spa-like luxury into your own home? I’ve always struggled with the towels in our kitchen drawer. You know, when they are just so stuffed into one drawer it’s hard to even open without messing all of them up. Plus don’t even get me started on how my kids leave the drawer after grabbing just one towel. Folding them a different way definitely helps eliminate some of these struggles and it’s honestly super simple. Let me show you how to do it!

Method #1

This method is pretty basic, but gets the job done and looks great. If you are working with a smaller space this will really help you maximize it. The thing I really love most about this method is how easy it is. Even little ones could learn how to do it! Why not teach them young, right?

1. Lay your towel out flat.
2. Pick one of the ends and fold it under.
3. Fold each side to the center, over lapping.
4. Fold the other end up toward the middle.
5. Roll the rest of the way up.
6. Flip the fold over the rolled towel to secure.

Method #2

This method is a little fancier, and my personal favorite! It’s so simple and with a little practice, you’ll be folding fancy towels in your sleep. Pro tip: depending on the size, this might not work with your towel laid out flat. For this towel I had to fold the two sides in before starting.

1. Depending on the size of your towel, fold two sides in.
2. Fold one corner over creating a triangle.
3. Fold the top half down, creating what almost looks like a paper airplane.
4. Flip the whole thing over and fold the bottom up to the middle.
5. Roll the rest of the way up.
6. Tuck the pointed part of the triangle into the side of the towel to secure.
